Um, I imagine I am being obtuse, as usual, but–isn’t that Kennedy’s middle name? I find I haven’t the vaguest idea what you may be trying to convey by that. Egotism, manipulativeness, and an inability to extract the country from a long and draining war that it shouldn’t have got into in the first place?
Yes, “Fitzgerald” was Kennedy’s middle name. I think I’m trying to say something like “Hey everyone, how long has it been since we elected someone who’s smart and easy on the eyes? Forty-eight years? Let’s try it again — you never know, it might work!”
Or maybe I’m just misspelling “Hussein” again. That keeps happening.
